Cyberpatriots Academy:
During the summer of 2018, I participated in a cyberpatriots academy. This was a 5 day course that taught me about coding and troubleshooting. During this academy, I learned the basics of Ubuntu and Linux and and used those skills to win a troubleshooting game at the end of the course. I enjoyed this course because it presented information in an engaging way and made the students apply their information to achieve a result. This made it so people were interested because they found a use for the information. It is important to be at least a little bit experienced in the field of coding for business because it helps you understand how computers think when creating a digital product. Additionally, it teaches you how to alter the delivery of your information so it can be understandable to different people. Coding is basically the language used to communicate with a computer, so starting at least one programming language helps you understand how devices interpret commands. Overall, this course was very exciting and taught me a lot about coding. Although it was hard at times, I learned a lot of information that will be important for my future.
